Letter from Dean

Welcome to Remington College of Nursing - Orlando! I am delighted that you are considering our College to pursue your education and I hope you will become part of our inaugural class.

This will be an exciting year for us as we admit our first students into our (Accelerated) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program. Our faculty members, administrators and staff members will do all they can to assist your transition into this challenging and rewarding 12-month program.

We are looking to enroll individuals who have already attained a bachelor's or master's degree in another field, who meet the program entrance prerequisites and who are currently interested in pursuing a career in nursing.

Upon graduation, this BSN can provide you with a variety of career opportunities. You should be equipped to enjoy the benefits of earning a great salary and enjoy an enhanced job security regardless of where you live and work.

As you explore your options, I would like to highlight some of the reasons why Remington College of Nursing - Orlando should be your top choice:

  • Our faculty members, administrators and staff members are dedicated to equipping our students with the skills needed to pursue a successful nursing career.
  • Our Orlando nursing school campus is brand new and includes a simulation laboratory, an easily accessible library, and modern classrooms allowing you to experience enhanced learning.
  • Our faculty members are dedicated experts in their fields of practice. They bring real-life experiences into the classroom, giving students valuable real-world knowledge.
  • Our program offers clinical experiences in a variety of healthcare settings in Central Florida. We worked diligently over the past year to establish clinical site locations with various healthcare institutions for our students. These settings include hospitals, clinics and skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities as well as community-based service organizations.
  • We are dedicated to helping you find ways to pay for your education. Financial aid is available for those who qualify and our financial aid staff members are available to discuss your options for financial assistance.
  • We are committed to seeing you succeed in your new career. After graduation, our career services department will assist in resumé writing, interviewing techniques and job placement, to help you succeed in your new profession.

I congratulate you for taking the first step toward a fulfilling career in nursing. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our College of Nursing, financial aid or the application process, please contact our admissions representatives at (800) 416-3195.

Sincerely,

Valerie Browne-Krimsley, EdD, RN
